Week of 10/17-10/21 Purpose: To understand that the rhetorical mode of description is likely to present itself in any writing situation. Students will learn that description draws on the five senses to communicate a particular experience of the world. Outcome: Students will be able to discern between objective and subjective description. Additionally, students will be able construct their own descriptive writing compositions.
